Eastbourne Working Mens Club (EWMC) is a friendly and active private members social club located in Eastbourne, East Sussex. As a CIU (Club and Institute Union) affiliated club, we offer a range of amenities and activities for our members and guests to enjoy.

Club Facilities and Activities
- Our club features two fully licensed bars with a wide range of drinks, including four real ales.
- The Main Lounge on the ground floor offers a bar area, seating areas, a dance floor, and a stage for live music, DJs, and comedy acts.
- We have three dart boards, large TV screens showing Sky Sports and TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), fruit machines, and a book library.
- Male and female toilet facilities, including disabled and baby changing facilities, are available.
- The Rafters Bar, located upstairs, also offers a bar area for a more intimate setting.
- In addition to darts and snooker, we have a pool table and various other activities for members to enjoy.
- We host regular entertainment events, including live music on Saturday nights, comedy acts, and more.

Private Function Room
- Our club has a private function room available for hire. The Rafters Bar is perfect for hosting special events and gatherings.

New Members Welcome
- We warmly welcome new members to join our club and be a part of our vibrant community.
- Members enjoy various benefits, including access to our facilities and participation in club activities.
Rules on Guests
- Members can sign in two guests at a time.
- Members are responsible for their guests, who must leave when the member leaves.
- Guests can only be signed in twice per quarter.
- Guests must be signed in at the front desk and pay the applicable guest fee: £2 for Saturday night entertainment and £1 at all other times. They must retain their visitor slip for the duration of their visit, in case they are challenged by bar staff or a Committee Member.
- Visiting members of other CIU clubs must also sign in at the front desk, but do not pay a fee and have no visiting restrictions. They must also have a valid CIU card on them.
At Eastbourne Working Mens Club, there’s always something happening. Whether you’re looking to relax with a drink, catch up on the latest sports action, play a game of darts or snooker, or participate in our exciting raffles and quiz nights, we have something for everyone.
